Last minute

... was the theme of the current challenge at the Stempelküche. It wuld have been ok to link up any Christmas card, but I wanted to use the theme and make a card that looks like I would have only had very little time left.

But I anyways wanted to have a card which has a little something to smile. So I fuzzy cut the edges around the deer very broadly (sure, I had time pressure!) and pulled a string around it quickly. It reminds a bit of a not well wrapped present (what? do you really know somebody that is not good at gift wrapping?!!) or as if the cute deer would have gone lost itself in the ribbon because it needed to deal with the Christmas decoration of the house all by itself. And of course, even though the card was "last minute", there always needs to be a minute for a little detail like the snow flakes, the red nose of the deer and also a matching sentiment which says "I just quickly wanted to drop a little Christmas note". I knew I would love this theme! My card follows the sketch of the current HLS challenge and I guess, that I really sticked to the theme "homespun" of the Simply Less is More Blog.
