Stempelfrida's Copic Colour Combinations reloaded

Noch im alten Jahr habe ich meine Kollektion an Copic Markern erweitert. Zwar hatte ich bereits eine große Palette, aber hier und da fehlten mir ein paar Farbnouancen und diese Lücken wollte ich gerne füllen. Ihr kennt das vielleicht, wenn man dann erstmal anfängt und schaut, was man noch so gebrauchen könnte, dann kommt gleich eine riesige Liste zusammen. Noch dazu brauchte ich auch den ein oder anderen Refiller. Also habe ich mich auf ein paar .... also die Wichtigsten .... (*hüstel*) beschränkt. OK, ich habe mir wieder so einige gekauft!
 
In the old year I extended my collection of Copic markers. I already had a wide range, but here and there I was missing some colour nuances and I wanted to fill these gaps. You might know this, but if you start and see what else you could use, you'll get a huge list. In addition, I also needed one or the other refiller. So I decided on a few .... so the most important .... (*grinning*). OK, I again got a lot! 

Was ich mir noch dazu gegönnt habe, ist eine neue Tasche für meine Copics. Vorher hatte ich sie in den kleineren Etuis, die ich auch sehr schön finde. Aber jetzt waren es so viele geworden und in der neuen Tasche kann man sie auch prima transportieren. Sie enthält kleinere Täschchen, die man einzeln raus nehmen kann. Toll finde ich, dass die Tasche leicht ist und eine kompakte Möglichkeit für die Aufbewahrung bietet. Nicht so gut finde ich, dass man sie nicht offen auf die Seite legen kann, denn dann rutschen einem die Stifte alle entgegen.
What I also indulged myself with is a new bag for my Copics. Before I had it in the smaller cases, which I also find very beautiful. But now there were so many pens and in the new bag you can transport them very well. It contains smaller pouches that you can take out individually. I think it's great that the bag is light and offers a compact storage option. I don't think it's so good that you can't put it open on its side, because then the pens all slip towards you.

Da ich von einigen Farben die Ciao habe, habe ich dann auch gleich die Kappen oben mit kleinen Aufklebern versehen, auf denen ich den Farbton geschrieben habe und ihn auch gemalt habe. Bei den helleren haben ich den gesamten Kreis angemalt, bei den dunkleren nur einen Kranz außen gezeichnet, so dass ich die Bezeichnung gut lesen kann. Dabei ist mir übrigens aufgefallen, dass tatsächlich die beiden Kappen ein wenig unterschiedlich zu sein scheinen, denn sie passten nur jeweils auf die eine Seite des Stifts gut.

Since I have the Ciao pens of some colors, I then also equipped the caps with small stickers, on which I wrote the colour tone and also painted it on them. For the lighter tones I painted the whole circle, for the darker ones I drew the colours only on the outer parte, so that I can read the name well. By the way, I noticed that actually the two caps seem to be a little bit different, as they only fit well on one side of the pens.

Und natürlich habe ich die neuen Farben auch gleich auf meine Farbringe gezogen.  
And of course I also needed to put the new colours onto my colour rings.

Warum wollte ich eigentlich noch neue Farben haben? Nicht nur, weil es einfach so schön ausschaut und man sie so gerne streichelt, nein, ich wollte meine Farbkarten mit Kombinationen erweitern. Und heute möchte ich Euch daher eine Aktualisierung der stempelfrida Copic Colour Kombinationen zeigen. Im ersten Bild seht Ihr alle Farbkarten zusammen. Damit Ihr aber auch die Details gut sehen und Bezeichnungen lesen könnt, habe ich Euch die Karten auch einzeln fotografiert.
Why did I want to have new colours? Not only because it just looks so beautiful and I love to pet them, no, I wanted to expand my colour cards with combinations. And today I would like to show you an update of the stempelfrida Copic Colour Combinations. In the first picture you can see all the colour cards together. I have also photographed the cards individually, so that you can also see the details well and read the labels.

Ich hoffe sehr, dass ich Euch ein bisschen bei Eurer Auswahl an Stiften damit helfen kann. Sei es für die Entscheidung zum Kauf oder bei der Entscheidung zu Kolorationen. Wie Ihr wißt, nenne ich Euch aber auch immer meine verwendeten Farben bei den jeweiligen Werken.
I very much hope that I can help you a little with your selection of pens. Be it for the decision when buy new ones or for the choice of your pens for the colourations. But as you know, I always mention the colours I use for my works in my posts as well.

Stempelfrida's Copic colour combinations

Ihr liebt Copics? Dann kennt Ihr sicherlich auch die folgende Szene: Ihr habt einen Stempel abgestempelt, den Ihr gerne kolorieren möchtet und Ihr nehmt Euch ein kleines Stück Papier und probiert Farben aus, die Ihr verwenden möchtet. Die besondere Herausforderung liegt hierbei in den Farbabstufungen und den Kombinationen, die Ihr verwenden möchtet. Denn, zwar sind die Stiftkappen in den Farben gefärbt, die der Stift hergeben soll, doch in vielen Fällen wirkt die Farbe dann auf dem Papier doch ganz anders. Wie oft habe ich da schon Überraschungen erlebt! Vielleicht habt Ihr Euch auch, wie ich, die vielen Farben auf eine Farbkarte gemalt und verwendet diese als erste Hilfe für die Auswahl. Aber, was man damit nicht machen kann ist, die Farben direkt nebeneinander zu halten. Also hilft das Skizzenpapier. Und das macht Ihr vermutlich, jedes mal auf´s Neue. Das soll sich jetzt ändern. Mich hat ein toller Post von Yana Smakula (KLICK) dazu inspiriert, Legenden mit Farbkombinationen zu erstellen. Dafür habe ich mir als erstes Farbringe gebastelt. Diese dienen dazu, dass ich mir meine Farben direkt nebeneinander halten kann. Ich habe Ovale ausgestanzt und ein Loch hinein gestanzt. Auf die Ovale habe ich alle meine Farben abgemalt und mit der Farbkennung beschriftet. Nach Farben sortiert habe ich sie dann auf Ringe gefädelt.

You love Copics? Then you surely know the following scene: You have stamped a stamp that you would like to colour and you take a small piece of paper and try out colours that you would like to use. The special challenge lies in the color gradations and the combinations you want to pick. Although the pen caps are coloured in the colours that the pen is supposed to give away, in many cases the colour looks completely different on the paper. How many times was I surprised already! Maybe you have painted the many colours on a colour card and use it as a first guide for your selection. But what you can't do with it is to hold the colours right next to each other. So you create your sketch paper. And that's probably what you do, like me, every time again and again. That's about to change now. I was inspired by a great post by Yana Smakula (CLICK) to create legends with colour combinations. First I created colour rings. These can be used to hold my colours right next to each other. I punched out ovals and punched a hole in them. The I painted and labeled all my colours. Sorted by colour, I threaded them onto rings.

Dann habe ich mir die Ringe genommen und einfach -für mich- schöne Kombinationen zusammen gestellt. Diese habe ich ebenfalls auf Ovale gemalt und nach Farben sortiert auf Karten geklebt. Das könnt Ihr in diesem Foto sehen. Ich wollte gerne einzelne Karten haben für die verschiedenen Farbtöne, so dass ich noch weiter ergänzen kann, denn bestimmt werden noch weitere Kombinationen hinzu kommen.

Then I took the rings and simply put together nice combinations -for me-. I painted them on ovals and glued them to cards sorted by colour. You can see it in this photo. I wanted to have individual cards for the different shades, so that I can add even more, because there will certainly be more combinations coming.

Jetzt werde ich  mir auch mal die Farbkombinationen von Yana vornehmen und auch meine alten Kombinationen zusammen suchen (ich schreibe Euch ja immer in meinen Posts, welche Farben ich benutze). 
Ich hoffe, ich konnte Euch hier einen nützlichen Tip geben und schaut doch auch mal bei Yana vorbei, wie es bei Ihr ausschaut und welche Kombinationen sie so mag.

Now I will look at Yana's colour combinations and also put together my formerly used combinations (I always give you the Copic numbers I use for my projects in my posts).
I hope I could give you a useful tip here and have a look at Yana's site, how hers looks like and what combinations she likes.
