Paper Piecing Bär

Ich mache noch einmal weiter mit dem neuen Matrosen-Freunde 2 Set von Stamp Corner. Ich liebe ja maritime niedliche Motive. So habe ich auch dieses Stempelset, welches wieder von GroWi designed wurde, ins Herz geschlossen.

I continue once again with the new sailor friends 2 set from Stamp Corner. I love maritime cute motifs. So I also fell in love with this stamp set, which was designed again by GroWi.

Ich koloriere ja gerne Motive. Dieses Mal habe ich mir aber eine andere Technik ausgesucht. Ich mache sie sehr gerne, aber tatsächlich verwende ich sie selten. Es handelt sich um das sogenannte Paper Piecing.

Dabei stempelt man das Motiv auf verschiedene Papiere und schneidet sich Teile aus. Diese setzt man dann wieder zu dem Motiv zusammen. Dabei habe ich einige Teile aufgeklebt, andere mit Abstandspads befestigt, so dass ich noch einen 3D Effekt dazu bekomme.

I like to color motifs. But this time I chose a different technique. I like to do it very much, but actually I rarely use it. It is the so-called paper piecing.
You stamp the motif on different papers and cut out parts. You then put them back together to make the motif complete. I have glued some of the parts, and attached others with spacer pads, so that I add a 3D effect to my card.

Im Hintergrund habe ich die Papiere und Rahmen mit Stanzen gestanzt und die Wellenkante von Hand geschnitten. Die Herzen sind gestempelt, die Punkte von Hand gezeichnet. Das Wort "Hurra" ist ebenfalls ausgestanzt.

In the background I die-cut the papers and frames with dies and cut the wavy edge with scizzors. The hearts are stamped, the dots drawn by hand. The word "hooray" is also a die-cut element.

Blumen überall - Flowers everywhere

Ist es nicht herrlich? Überall blüht es. Ich liebe es, in meinen Garten zu gehen und zu schauen, was es dort wieder Neues zu entdecken gibt. Eigentlich weiß ich ja, was ich so gepflanzt und gesät habe, aber doch ist es in jedem Jahr wieder eine neue Entdeckungsreise. Und ich denke, ganz viele von Euch erleben das ähnlich und so kann mann es auch an den aktuellen Challenge-Themen sehen, von denen ganz viele nach Blumen fragen.
Isn't it wonderful? It's in bloom everywhere. I love to go into my garden and see what's new to discover there. Actually I know what I have planted and sown, but still it is a new voyage of discovery every year. And I think that many of you experience this in a similar way and so you can see it in the current challenge themes, many of which ask for flowers.

Bei meiner Karte handelt es sich um die Paper Piecing Technik. Dabei stempelt man das Motiv mehrere male ab und schneidet es aus. Dabei wird man immer kleiner. Ganz unten hat man das ganze Motiv und ganz oben dann nur noch, was quasi in 3D gedacht rausschauen würde.

Die einzelnen Teile klebt man dann mit Abstandspads übereinander, damit man ein tolles 3D Motiv bekommt. Dieses mal habe ich meine Motive nicht koloriert, sondern Designpapier dafür verwendet.

I made my card with the Paper Piecing technique. You stamp the motive several times and cut it out. With every piece you get smaller and smaller. At the bottom you place the whole motive and at the top you only have what would stand out if you think in 3D.
The individual parts are then glued on top of each other with spacer pads to create a 3D motif. This time I didn't colour my motives but used design paper for it.
