Gestern hatte ich Euch ja schon die Eichhörnchen aus dem neuen Release von Scrapbook Forever in der schwarz-weißen Version gezeigt. Wem das vielleicht zu einfarbig war, der kommt hoffentlich heute auf seine Kosten. Mit dieser Karte möchte ich ganz herzlich meine neue Followerin preeti d. begrüßen. Das Paper Piecing war mein Startpunkt bei dieser Karte. Ich mache ja gerne Paper Piecing und hatte es jetzt schon eine Weile nicht gemacht. Die Fliegenpilze boten sich dafür aber herrlich an. Zunächst habe ich also die Fliegenpilzstempel auf zwei verschiedenen Papieren abgestempelt und entsprechend ausgeschnitten. Den hellen Untergrund habe ich komplett ausgeschnitten, so dass ich die rote Kappe gut mit Abstandshaltern drauf montieren konnte. Ich habe die Pilze noch mit Polychromos, Distress Oxides und Signo Marker bearbeitet. Das Eichhörnchen habe ich mit Polychromos ausgemalt. Die Kollage habe ich dann mit Abstandspads zusammen geklebt und an den Rändern Nähte gezeichnet.The paper piecing was my starting point with this card. I like to do paper piecing and hadn't done it for a while now. The toadtools offered themselves however marvellously for it. First I stamped the toadstool stamps on two different papers and cut them out accordingly. I cut out the light background completely, so that I could mount the red cap well with spacers on it. I worked on the mushrooms with Polychromos, Distress Oxides and Signo Marker. I painted the squirrel with Polychromos. I then glued the collage together with spacer pads and drew stitches at the edges.
