Be wild and free

Wie Ihr wisst, male ich ja sehr gerne Stempel aus und daher ist die heutige Karte schon eine Herausforderung für mich gewesen! 
As you know, I like to colour stamps and therefore today's card has been a challenge for me!


Bei den Augustneuheiten von Stamp Corner findet Ihr auch ein Pusteblumenset mit ein paar schönen Sprüchen. Von dem großen Pusteblumenstempel habe ich nur die kleinen Samen für ganz unten auf meiner Karte verwendet. Dazu habe ich die Samen, die ich stempeln wollte gezielt mit dem Stempelkissen eingefärbt. Mit einem Signomarker habe ich noch Details rausgearbeitet. Den kleineren Stempel habe ich dagegen viele Male mit Versamark abgestempelt und in weiß embosst, um so eine Art Designpapier zu erzeugen. Am besten verwendet Ihr vor dem Stempen besonders bei weißem Embossingpulver einen sogannten Embossing-Buddy. Das ist ein kleines Säckchen mit leichtem feinen Pulver drin. Damit streicht Ihr vorher über Euer Papier damit hinterher wirklich nur dort Pulver kleben bleibt, wo Ihr gestempelt habt. 
Unten auf meiner Karte habe ich noch kleine Punkte aufgemalt. Den Hintergrund habe ich unten schräg abgeschnitten und an die untere Kante einen gestanzten Streifen aufgeklebt, den ich mit weißen Punkten versehen habe. 
Oben habe ich noch eine Schleife um das selbstgemachte Designpapier gebunden und einige klare Halbperlen aufgeklebt.
Among the August novelties of Stamp Corner you will also find a set of dandelions with a few nice sayings. From the big pistils I only used the small seeds for the bottom of my card. For this I coloured the seeds I wanted to stamp with the stamp pad. I worked out some details with a Signo marker. I stamped the smaller stamp many times with Versamark and embossed it in white to create a kind of design paper. It is best to use a so-called embossing buddy before stamping, especially with white embossing powder. This is a small bag filled with light fine powder. You wipe it over your card before stamping so that the embossing powder later only sticks where you stamped. At the bottom of my card I have painted small dots. I cut off the background diagonally at the bottom and glued a die-cut strip onto the lower edge, which I provided with white dots. 
At the top I tied a bow around the  self-made design paper and glued some clear half pearls on it. The sentiment on the card says: Be wild, be free, be wonderful!

Dieses Stempelmotiv von Visible Image strahlt für mich solch eine beeindruckende Ruhe aus. Und ich glaube, das hat mich dazu inspiriert, diese Karte ganz schlicht zu halten. Aber (wie so oft) bedeutend in den Farben.
This stamp motif from Visible Image radiates such an impressive peacefulness for me. And I think that inspired me to keep this card simple, but (as so often) significant in the colours.


Vielleicht habt Ihr gedacht, ich hätte die Hauptfigur in den Farben gewischt, doch nein, ich habe sie mit Copics koloriert. Zunächst habe ich dazu den Stempel mit Memento gestempelt und dann einfach grob über die Ränder übergemalt. Das Motiv selber habe ich dann mit einer Schere genau ausgeschnitten. Ganz wichtig finde ich, die Ränder nach dem Ausschneiden nochmals mit einem schwarzen Stift nachzufahren. Dann sieht man auch keine weißen Kanten mehr.
 
Maybe you thought I wiped the main character for the colour shading, but no, I coloured it with Copics. First I stamped the stamp with Memento and then painted over the edges. I then cut out the motif with scissors. I think it's very important to re-draw the edges again with a black pen after cutting them out. Then you won't see any more white spaces.
Den Hintergrund für meine Figur habe ich aber in der Tat mit einer Schablone gewischt. Die Schablone habe ich dafür mit Malerkrepp befestigt. Ich habe mit der hellsten Farbe von innen heraus angefangen und dann noch zwei weitere Farbtöne benutzt. Den lezten Ton habe ich dann nur noch in der Mitte verwendet. Auf den gewischten Hintergrund habe ich noch die distressten Punkte und den Text gestempelt.

But the background for my figure was indeed wiped with a stencil. I fixed the stencil with painters tape. I started with the lightest color froum the inside out and then used two more shades. The last tone I used then only in the middle. On the wiped background I stamped the distressted dotts and the text.
 

Die Figur als Zentrum meiner Karte habe ich mit Abstandspads angebracht, alles andere ist flach zusammen geklebt.
I attached the figure as the centre of my card with spacer pads, everything else is glued flat together.

Superheldin - Mein Einstand bei Stamp Corner

Juchu, ich darf von nun an im Stamp Corner Designteam mitwirken!!! (HIER gelangt Ihr zum Shop). Meine erste Karte ist mit einem der Haus-eigenen Stempel, die ich so goldig finde. Es handelt sich um kleine Superhelden und dieses Mädel hier ist doch wohl total niedlich, was meint Ihr?
Yay, from now on I am part of the Stamp Corner design team!!! (You can reach the store HERE). My first card is with one of the house-own stamps, which I find so cute. They are little superheroes and this girl here is really cute, what do you think?

Den Hintergrund meiner Karte habe ich mit Aquarellfarben gestaltet. Mit Abstandspads habe ich darauf die weiße Karte gesetzt, die ich an den Rändern mit den Nähten gestanzt habe und in die ich den Stern ebenfalls gestanzt hatte. Sowohl auf den Hintergrund als auch auf die weiße Karte habe ich Nuvo Drops gegeben. Weiße Nähte habe ich mit einem Signomarker gemalt und vorne noch Stanzteile und Pailetten geklebt. Meine Heldin habe ich mit Memento gestempelt und mit Copics koloriert. 
I have designed the background of my card with watercolours. With spacer pads I put the white card on it, which I punched at the edges with the stitches and into which I also had punched the star. On the background as well as on the white card I applied Nuvo Drops. I painted the white stitches with a Signomarker and glued the stamped parts and sequins on the front. I stamped my heroine with Memento and coloured her with Copics.

You make me smile

Ich wünsche Euch allen so sehr, dass Ihr jemanden habt, der Euch immer wieder zum Lächeln bringt! So, wie es dieser Spruch sagt:"Du bringst mich zum Lachen". Und ich hoffe, dass ich Euch mit dieser sehr knalligen Karte wenigstens ein bisschen Augenschmaus zaubern konnte.
I wish you all so much that you have someone who always makes you smile! Just as this saying says: "You make me smile". And I hope that I could at least provide you with a little candy for your eyes with this very flashy card. 

Den Hintergrund habe ich mit Acrylfarben gestaltet. Darauf habe ich die Blumen gestempelt und nochmals auf extra Papier. Die zusätzlichen Blumen habe ich dann mit Copics koloriert, ausgeschnitten, auf den Hintergrund mit Abstandspads montiert und mit Glossy Accents versehen. Das Wort Smile habe ich mit Versamark gestempelt und mit weißem Pulver embosst. Die Akzente sind mit einem Acrylstift gemalt und die schwarzen Perlen sind Enamel Accents aus der Tube.

I designed the background with acrylic paints. On it I stamped the flowers and again on extra paper. Then I coloured the additional flowers with Copics, cut them out, mounted them on the background with spacer pads and provided them with glossy accents. I stamped the word Smile with Versamark and embossed it with white powder. The accents are painted with an acrylic pencil and the black beads are Enamel Accents from the tube.

So alt!!!

Ich hatte Euch ja schon eine Karte mit dem Regenschirmset gezeigt, welches es ab morgen im neuen Release von Scrapbook Forever geben wird. Aber es wird auch ein Affenset geben. Schaut mal hier!
I already showed you a card with the umbrella set, which will be available tomorrow in the new release of Scrapbook Forever. But there will also be a monkey set. Have a look here! The text reads: So old - I won´t say anything...
 


Den Affen habe ich mit Versamark gestempelt und mit Polychromos koloriert. Lediglich für die Augen habe ich Copics benutzt. Ich habe ihn dann mit der Hand ausgeschnitten. Die Buchstaben sind ausgestanzt und mit Distress Oxides koloriert. Akzente habe ich mit einem Signomarker gemacht und die Ränder schwarz gemalt. Die Sprechblasen sind ausgestanzt. Darauf habe ich den Text mit Versamark gestempelt und in weiß embosst. Da es sich um einen zusammen hängenden Text handelt, habe ich zunächst nur Versamark auf das erste Wort gegeben und gestempelt. Dann auf die beiden ersten Worte und über das erste Wort ein Stück nicht-permanentes Klebeband geklebt bevor ich das zweite Wort abgestempelt habe und ebenso mit dem dritten Wort. Für den Hintergrund habe ich mit einer Schablone einzelne Kreise mit einem Schwämmchen auf die ausgestanzte Karte mit den Nähten aufgetragen. Die Kringel sind gestempelt und die schwarzen Punkte gemalt. Alles in der Kollage ist mit Abstandspads montiert. 
I stamped the monkey with Versamark and coloured it with Polychromos. Only for the eyes I used Copics. I then fuzzy cut it by hand. The letters are punched out and coloured with Distress Oxides. I made accents with a Signo marker and painted the edges black. The speech bubbles are punched out. On it I stamped the text with Versamark and embossed it in white. Since it is a coherent text, I first gave Versamark on the first word and stamped it. Then on the first two words and over the first word I glued a piece of non-permanent tape before I stamped the second word and went on like this for the third word. For the background, I used a stencil to apply individual circles with a sponge to the punched out card with the stitches. The circles are stamped and the black dots are hand drawn. Everything in the collage is mounted with spacer pads.

Mein Monat 2019-06

Im Monat Juni habe ich ja neben meiner Tätigkeit im Designteam von Scrapbook Forever auch ein Gastdesign bei Visible Image angenommen. In meiner Kollage vom Monat Juni findet Ihr daher auch Werke mit Materialien aus beiden Shops. Aber natürlich gibt es auch andere Karten. 
Nach wie vor habe ich viele bunte Sachen gemacht, aber auch hier und da ein paar gediegenere Farben verwendet. In the month of June I did not only work in the design team of Scrapbook Forever but also as a guest designer for Visible Image. In my collage from June you will find works with materials from both shops. But of course there are other cards as well.
I still made a bunch of colourful things, but I also used some more lighter colours here and there.


Es hat furchtbar viel Spaß gemacht, die vielen unterschiedlichen Motive mit den unterschiedlichsten techniken zu verarbeiten.
It was a lot of fun to process the many different motifs with various different techniques.

Total traurig


Manchmal gibt es ja auch traurige Anlässe und da möchte man dann auch eine schöne Karte zu machen. Das muss ja nicht gleich ein tod-trauriger Anlass sein, sondern vielleicht jemand, der eine Gruppe verlässt, ein Projekt, dass endet o.ä.
Sometimes there are also sad occasions and then one would like to make a nice card. That doesn't have to be a deadly sad occasion, but maybe someone who leaves a group, a project that ends or something like that. My words on this card say "so sad".


Das Wort in der Mitte meiner Karte habe ich mit einer Stanze ausgestanzt. Darauf habe ich dann Regentropfen aus dem Regenschrimset von Scrapbook Forever mit Versamark gestempelt und in blau embosst. (Das Set kommt im August in den Verkauf). Die Ränder drum herum habe ich mit Copics koloriert und die Tropfen selbst dann mit Nuvo Drops gefüllt. Das Wort "traurig" habe ich mit Distress Oxides auf den mit der Randstanze gestanzten Hintergrund gestempelt. Das Stanzteil habe ich wieder in den Hintergrund an die passende Stelle gesetzt und alles mit Abstandspads montiert. 

I punched out the word in the middle of my card with a die. Then I stamped raindrops from the umbrella set of Scrapbook Forever with Versamark and embossed them in blue. (The set will be available to buy in August). I coloured the surrounding with Copics and filled the drops with Nuvo Drops. I stamped the word "sad" with Distress Oxides on the background, which I punched with the edge die. I put the die cut piece back into the background and mounted everything with spacer pads.

Surfing hippo

Yipieh, bald kommt der neue Release von Scrapbook Forever und es enthält..... Regenschirme :) Vielleicht dachtet Ihr, dieses niedliche Hippo sei daraus, aber das gibt es schon länger und ich dachte mir, dass es so herrlich in den Schirm passt und damit verliebt ein bisschen auf dem Wasser treiben könnte. 
Yipieh, soon comes the new release of Scrapbook Forever and it contains..... Umbrellas :) Maybe you thought this cute hippo was out of it, but it's been around for a while and I thought it would fit so nicely into the umbrella to float - fully in love - on the water with it (the text reads: in love).


Für den Hintergrund meiner Karte habe ich zunächst den Wellenrand von einem Karton ausgestanzt. Diesen habe ich dann als Schablone genutzt um das Wasser in den zwei Farbtönen zu wischen. Zum Schluss habe ich Wasser auf die Distress Oxides gespritzt. Im oberen Teil habe ich von der Herzhintergrundschablone ein paar Herzen ausgewählt und sie mit Hilfe von sehr kleinen Schwämmchen durch die Schablone aufgetragen. 
Für den Hintergrund des Tags  habe ich im unteren Teil ein Stück Designpapier mit Hilfe der Stanze gestanzt und im oberen Teil habe ich einen Punktestempel aus dem Set Strahlenmeer genutzt, den ich an den Rändern kräftig mit Farbe abgestempelt habe und nach innen hin noch ein zweimal jeweils nachgestempelt, damit es zur Mitte heller wird. 
Das Nilpferd und den Regenschrim habe ich mit Memento gestempelt und mit Copics koloriert. In den Regenschrim habe ich einen Schlitz geschnitten, damit ich das Hippo rein setzen konnte. Dafür musste ich auch neben dem Beinchen rechts und links schneiden, damit dieses überhängen konnte.
Nachdem ich den Text gestempelt habe, habe ich ihm noch einen hellen Schatten mit einem Signomarker verliehen.
For the background of my card I first punched out the edge of the wave from a cardboard. I then used this as a template to wipe the water in the two shades. Finally I sprayed water on the Distress Oxides. In the upper part I selected a few hearts from the heart background stencil and applied them with the help of very small sponges through the stencil.
For the background of the tag I punched a piece of design paper in the lower part with the help of the die and in the upper part I used a dots stamp from the set Strahlenmeer, which I stamped with lots of the ink at the edges and stamped two times more towards inside, so that it became lighter towards the middle.
I stamped the hippo and the umbrella with Memento and coloured them with Copics. I cut a slit into the umbrella so that I could let the hippo sit down in it. Therefore I had to cut the leg on the right and left side as well so that the leg could be outside the umbrella.
After I stamped the text and gave it a light shadow with a Signo marker.

Holder for a little bottle

Am Wochenende hatte ich die Bastelmädels bei mir zu Besuch und da ist es Tradition, dass ich eine Kleinigkeit für sie auf den Tisch stelle. Ich htte diese kleinen Fläschchen mit Schaumbad gekauft und mir gedacht, dass ich dafür einen kleinen Halter bastel.
On the weekend the crafty girls visited me and I have the tradition that I put a small thing for them on the table. I bought these small bottles with foam bath and thought that I would make a holder for them.


Auf dem Foto könnt ihr die Grundmaße erkennen und wo ich gefalzt habe. Bitte beachtet, dass ich für die Falz immer einen Milimeter zusätzlich eingeplat habe.
On the photo you can see the basic measures and where the folds are. Please note that I always calculated a millimeter for the fold.


Das Außenmaß beträgt 22.5x9.2 cm.
Die Falze liegen bei 9.1cm, 14.2 cm, 16.3 cm, 21.4 cm. 
Die Kante oben habe ich dann mit einer Stanze von Stampin Up gestanzt.
The outer dimensions are 22.5x9.2 cm.
The folds are at 9.1 cm, 14.2 cm, 16.3 cm, 21.4 cm. 
I cut off the upper edge with a punch from Stampin Up.
 

Die Designpapier Streifen haben die Maße 1.8x4.8 cm. Ihr müsst nicht alle Laschen zusammen kleben. Dort, wo Ihr das Klebeband erkennen könnt genügt.
The design paper strips have the dimensions 1.8x4.8 cm. You don't have to glue all the tabs together. It is enough to put glue or sticky tape as shown in the photo.


In den Schlitz oben habe ich dann noch ein Schleifenband eingezogen, an welches ich ein kleines bestempeltes Tag gebunden habe. Mit der Schnur habe ich das Schleifenband fixiert.
In the slit at the top I pulled in a ribbon, to which I tied a small stamped tag. I fixed the ribbon with the string.
