Visible Wednesday - YOU

Schon wieder sind zwei Wochen vergangen und so ist es Zeit für meinen Visible Wednesday für Euch! Kennt Ihr das: Eigentlich wolltet Ihr etwas ganz Anderes machen.... aber dann hat sich doch etwas Tolles draus ergeben. Ich will ehrlich mit Euch sein: So war es mit meiner Karte von heute. 
Again two weeks have passed and so it's time for my Visible Wednesday for you! Do you know that: Actually you wanted to do something completely different.... but then something great came out of it. I want to be honest with you: That's how it was with my card from today.


Auf Instagram gibt es derzeit eine Challenge von Brigit Koopsen mit Gelli Plates. Ich bin ja nun wahrlich kein Experte damit und so habe ich bei dieser Karte Einiges völlig verkehrt gemacht. Was aber zu einem schönen Ergebnis geführt hat. Es handelte sich um Tag 4 der Challenge zum Thema Water soluble Crayons. Diese sollte man in der Challenge mit der Gelli Plate benutzen. Ich habe einerseits mit den Kreiden zu naß gearbeitet, so dass sie eher verlaufen sind und dann habe ich auch noch zu viel Acrylfarbe aufgetragen. Aber, siehe da, das gab auch ein ganz tolles Muster. Und so war ich doch sehr glücklich mit meinem Hintergrund, auch wenn man die eigentliche Intention mit den Kreiden nicht mehr erkennt.

On Instagram there is currently a challenge from Brigit Koopsen with Gelli Plates. I'm really not an expert on this and so I've done a lot of things completely wrong with this card. But that led to a nice result. It was day 4 of the challenge on water soluble crayons. These should be used in the Challenge with the Gelli Plate. On the one hand, I worked with too much water with the chalks, so that they rather flowed and then I also applied too much acrylic paint. But, lo and behold, that also gave a great pattern. And so I was very happy with my background, even if you can't see the actual intention with the chalks anymore.

Im Hintergrund habe ich dann noch die Herzen aus dem set "Have I told you" gestempelt und mit meinen Poscamarkern gezeichnet. Ich bin übrigens ein richtig großer Fan der Poscamarker geworden. Der weiße kommt meiner Meinung nach nicht an die Deckkraft vom Signomarker heran, aber er erfüllt auch seinen Zweck und die Farbvielfalt bei Posca ist super. Ihr wisst vielleicht, dass es sie auch mit ganz unterschiedlichen Spitzen gibt. 
In the background I then stamped the hearts from the stamp set "Have I told you" and drew a bit with my Poscamarker. By the way, I have become a really big fan of the Poscamarkers. The white one doesn't come close to the opacity of the  Signomarker in my opinion, but it also fulfils its purpose and the colour variety with Posca pens is great. You may know that they are also available with very different tips.  


 Der Text!!!!!!! Ist der nicht wunderschön? Ich weiß genau, wer da an wen gedacht hat, als SIE ihn kreiert hat, aber er trifft sicherlich sehr viele von uns direkt ins Herz. Ich habe ihn mit dem Ink on 3 Stempelkissen gestempelt.
The sentiment!!!!!!!! Isn't it beautiful? I know exactly who thought of whom when SHE created it, but it certainly hits many of us directly in the heart. I stamped it with the Ink on 3 stamp pad.


Ziemlich genau vor einem Monat hatte ich eine Karte mit drei Figuren gemacht. Ich hatte dort geschrieben, dass ich vier gemacht hatte, eine davon aber nicht brauchte. Jetzt kam sie als Hauptfigur ins Spiel. Ihr könnt hier (KLICK) nachlesen, wie ich sie gemacht hatte. 
Almost exactly a month ago I had made a card with three figures. I had written there that I had made four, but didn't need one of them. Now it came into play as a main actor. You can read here (CLICK) how I made it.

My little angel

Ist sie nicht entzückend, diese Kleine? Oder sollte ich besser sagen dieser kleine? Also dieser kleine Engel? Sie hatte mich so verzaubert, dass ich mir das Stempelset auf jeden Fall kaufen musste. 
Isn't she delightful, this little one? This little angel? I found her so magical that I had to buy the stamp set in any case.

Once a month there is a challenge for you on the Stamp Corner Blog. It starts on the 15th and this month we want to see autumn colours on your cards. The used products or the used main product should be from the shop. You can all details here: CLICK.

Dieses Mal habe ich den Hintergrund für meine Karte mit verschiedenen Tönen Distress Inks gewischt. Für den unteren Teil habe ich den oberen Bereich mit einer Maske abgedeckt. Neben Brauntönen habe ich auch einen rosé-Ton und einen gelblichen genutzt. Dadurch wirkt die Atmosphäre etwas weicher und goldiger. Neben sehr zarten Übergängen habe ich im oberen Bereich mit braun etwas stärker die Richtung betont. Ich wollte, dass es zu den Haaren des Engels passt. Die Punkte sind gestempelt, mit Wasser gekleckst und die weißen mit einem Signomarker gezeichnet. Der Schriftzug und die Sterne sind aus einem Set von C.C. Designs. Der goldige Engel stammt von CraftEmotions. Ich habe sie alle mit Memento gestempelt und dann mit Copics, Polychromos und einem weißen Signomarker koloriert. Danach habe ich alles von Hand ausgeschnitten und mit Abstandspads auf der Karte befestigt. 
This time I have wiped the background for my card with different tones of Distress Inks. For the lower part I covered the upper part with a mask. Besides brown tones I also used a rosé tone and a yellowish one. This makes the atmosphere a little softer and more golden. Besides very soft transitions, I emphasized the direction a bit more in the upper area with a darker brown. I wanted it to match the angel's hair. The dots are stamped, waterstained and the white ones drawn with a marker. The lettering and the stars are from a set of C.C. Designs. The darling angel comes from CraftEmotions. I stamped them all with Memento and then coloured them with Copics, Polychromos and a white Signo marker. Then I fussy cut everything and attached it to the card with spacer pads.

Mach mal blau

So richtige CAS Karten mache ich ja nur selten und auch bei dieser hier würden die wahren CAS Freaks wieder sagen: Oh, ne, da ist ja was mit Abstandspads angebracht! Aber ich finde, die Karte ist gaaanz schön CAS und mir fällt es oft so schwer, mich zu bremsen, um dann nicht doch nicht hier und da und dort etwas zuzufügen. Aber ich habe es geschafft. Für mich ist die Karte sehr CAS und ich finde sie toll. Ich mag den Spruch so gerne und finde, er kommt so richtig schön zur Geltung.
I rarely make such real CAS cards and even with this one the real CAS freaks would probably say: Oh, no, there are some distance pads under the balloons! But I think the card is really nicely CAS and I often find it so hard to hold myself to not add something here and there and here. But I stopped myself. For me the card is very CAS and I like it. I love the saying so much and think it is really beautiful. It reads:"go blue".



Für meine Ballons habe ich mit verschiedenen Blautönen eines Acrylfarbesprays auf einen glänzenden Karton gesprüht. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich daraus die Ballons ausgestanzt. Sie sind mit Abstandspads auf dem Hintergrund geklebt, ebenso wie der Spruch, den ich mit Distress Oxides gestempelt und mit der Hand ausgeschnitten habe. Im Hintergrund habe ich die Spritzer mit Wasserfarbe gemacht und die Schnüre für die Ballons mit der Hand gezeichnet. 
For my balloons I sprayed with different blue tones of an acrylic paint spray on a shiny cardboard. After drying, I punched out the balloons. They are glued to the background with spacer pads, as is the slogan that I stamped with Distress Oxides and cut out by hand. In the background I made the splashes with water colour and drew the strings for the balloons by hand. 


Auf diese Weise lassen sich ganz einfach schöne Karten zaubern und vor allen Dingen könnt Ihr die Ballons auch gegen einen anderen Gegenstand oder eine andere Form ersetzen. Viel Spaß beim nachbasteln.
This way you can easily create beautiful cards and above all you can replace the balloons with another item or another shape. Have fun creating!

Ich weiß noch sehr genau, wie ich vor einer gefühlten Ewigkeit zum ersten Mal an dieser Challenge zu Weihnachten teilgenommen hatte und sehr berührt war, als meine Karte zum Gewinner gekürt wurde. Autumnal thanks

Ihr erinnert Euch vielleicht noch an meine Karte von vor ein paar Tagen bei der ich den Wellenhintergrund mit Alkoholmarkern in Blautönen koloriert habe. Heute habe ich ihm ein ganz anderes nämlich herbstlich goldenes Design verpasst. Passend zum Herbst gibt es dann auch ein "Danke" obendrauf.
You may remember my card from a few days ago where I coloured the wave background with alcohol markers in blue tones. Today I gave it a completely different namely autumnal golden design. In time for autumn there is also a "Thank you" on top. 



Den Wellenhintergrund habe ich  mit Versamark auf ein Stück Karton gestempelt, auf welches ich verschiedene Distress Oxides Sparys gesprüht hatte. Er ist anschließend in gold embosst. Außerdem habe ich noch Nuvo Drops aufgetragen (so wie auch auf den Rändern der Basiskarte) und Spritzer mit Wasserfarbe gemacht. Das ausgestanzte Danke-Teil habe ich auch mit passenden Wasserfarben angemalt. Ich habe es noch mit einem dunklen zweiten "Danke", welches ich versetzt darunter geklebt habe betont. Der Hintergrund und das Danke sind jeweils mit Abstandspads montiert.

I stamped the wave background with Versamark on a piece of cardboard on which I sprayed various Distress Oxides Sparys. It was then embossed in gold. I also applied Nuvo Drops (as well as on the edges of the base card) and sprayed it with water colour. I also painted the die-cut thank you piece with matching water colours. I actually cut out another "tahnk you" in a dark colour and glued it under the first one a bit twisted so that I contrast the upper one. The background and the thank you are each mounted with spacer pads.

Menschen mit großen Vögeln

Habt Ihr auch einen Vogel? Dann hoffe ich, dass er ganz besonders groß ist, denn Ihr lest es ja selbst, mit Euch kann man dann an ganz ungewöhnliche Orte fliegen, hihi. Und ja, da ist doch wirklich etwas dran, oder? So schräge Vögel sind doch mega mit ihren Ideen!
Do you have a bird? Then I hope that it is especially big, because you read it yourself, with you one can fly to very unusual places, hihi. .... and now I guess I first need to explain what the sentiment says and what it means here in Germany! The sentiment reads:"You can fly to very unusual places with people having a big bird".  "People having a bird" in German means that you are kind of weird. And yes, there really is something to it, isn't there? Such weird birds are mega with their ideas!


Für den farbenfrohen Hintergrund meiner Karte habe ich Acrylfarbe und meine Gelli Plate benutzt. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich mit einer Stanze das Mauermuster unten links gestanzt. Um alles pasend zueinander zu machen habe ich dem Hintergrund mit einem schwarzen Acrylmarker einen Rand verpasst. Den Hintergrund habe ich auf einer weißen Karte gemattet. Auf die Karte habe ich mit Copics Punkte gemalt. Für den Spruch habe ich ebenfalls ein Stück aus einem mit einer Gelli Plate kreierten Hintergrund genutzt. Darauf habe ich den Text mit Archival gestempelt. Auch hier findet Ihr den schwarzen Rahmen, den ich mit dem Acrylstift gemacht habe. Striche und Punkte habe ich damit auch gemalt und mit einem Sinomarker in weiß. Das Wort "wunderbar" habe ich noch mit einem weißen Polychromos betont.
Den Vogel habe ich mit Ink on 3 gestempelt und mit Copics koloriert. Das ist das erste Mal, dass ich dieses Stempelkissen verwendet habe und es ist super, finde ich. Aber ja, es geht auch ein bisschen schwerer wieder von den Stempeln ab. Auf die Augen des Vogels habe ich noch Glossy Accents aufgetragen.
 
For the colorful background of my card I used acrylic paint and my Gelli Plate. After drying I punched the wall pattern on the lower left with a die-cut. In order to make everything match to each other I gave the background an edge with a black acrylic marker. I matted the background on a white card. I painted dots to the carad with Copics. For the sentiment I also used a piece from a background created with a Gelli Plate. I stamped the text on it with Archival ink. Also here you can find the black frame I made with the acrylic pen. I also painted strokes and dots with it and with a Sinomarker in white. 
I stamped the bird with Ink on 3 and coloured it with Copics. This is the first time I've used this ink pad and it's great, I think. But yes, it's a bit harder to get off the stamps again. I applied Glossy Accents to the bird's eyes to make them shine.

Ich habe Meerweh

Liebt Ihr auch das Meer so sehr? Ich finde dieses Motiv, welches von Treeebird designt ist, so wunderschön und es gibt gleich ein ganzes Stempelset dazu! Das bedeutet, ihr könnt Euch in den nächsten Wochen auf noch mehr dieser Motive freuen.
Do you also love the sea that much as I do? I find this motive, which is designed by Treeebird, so beautiful and there even is a whole stamp set to it! That means you can look forward to even more of these motifs to be used on my cards in the next weeks. The sentiments says:"I have longing for the sea"


Den Hintergrund meiner Karte habe ich mit Alkoholinks gemacht. Den wunderbaren Seebären mit der Krake und den Anker habe ich mit Memento in einem Braunton gestempelt und mit Copics koloriert. Reflektionen habe ich mit einem Signomarker gemalt. Die Motive sind von Hand ausgeschnitten. Den Text habe ich mit Versamark gestempelt und in weiß embosst. 
I made the background of my card with alcohol inks. I stamped the wonderful sea bear with the octopus and the anchor with Memento in a brown tone and coloured tehm with Copics. I painted reflections with a Signo marker. The motives are cut out by hand. I stamped the text with Versamark and embossed it in white.

Visible Wednesday - Guardian of your memories

Es ist mir eine besondere Freude, Euch heute diese Karte zu zeigen. Denn, ..... ich bin nach meiner 3-monatigen Gastdesign-Zeit bei Visible Image (KLICK) in das eigentliche Designteam aufgenommen worden, hurra!!!!!! Von heute an gibt es daher bei mir jeden zweiten Mittwoch einen "Visible Wednesday" sozusagen :) 
It is with great pleasure to show you this card today. Because, ..... after my 3-month guest design time at Visible Image (CLICK) I was invited to join the main design team, hooray!!!!!!! From today on I will have a "Visible Wednesday" every other Wednesday for you, so to speak :)

Den Hintergrund für meine Karte habe ich mit der Gelli Plate und der Fibres Schablone von Visible Image gemacht. In der Mitte wirkt es so, als gäbe es keine Farbe, aber das ist ein Trick: Ich habe dort weiße Acrylfarbe verwendet. So ist Platz zum Beispiel für den Text, den ich mit Versamark darauf gestempelt und in schwarz embosst habe.  
I made the background for my card with the Gelli Plate and the Fibres template from Visible Image. In the middle it looks like there is no colour, but this is a trick: I used white acrylic paint there. It creates, for example, space for the text that I stamped with Versamark on it and embossed in black.  


Den Wächter aus dem Set Guardian Angel habe ich mit Memento gestempelt und mit Copics koloriert. Anschließend habe ich ihn von Hand ausgeschnitten. Ebenso bin ich mit den Blättern verfahren. Die Tropfen darauf habe ich noch mit Glossy Accents versehen. Auf meinen Hintergrund habe ich noch ein paar Tropfen mit Nuvo Drops gemacht. Zum Teil sind es durchscheinende. An den Rändern habe ich meinen Hintergrund abgerissen. Die weißen Punkte auf der Kartenbasis sind mit einem Signomarker gemacht. 
I stamped the guard from the set guardian angel with Memento and coloured it with Copics. Then I cut it out by hand. I did the same with the leaves. The drops on the leaves are Glossy Accents. On my background I added a few drops with Nuvo Drops. Some of them are translucent. At the edges I have torn off my background. The white dots on the card base are made with a marker. 

Bei Simon Says Stamp gibt es diese Woche eine Challenge, die Visible Image Produkten gewidmet ist. Man muss keine Visible Image Produkte verwenden, denn das Thema lautet "Etwas Durchscheinendes", aber wie passend ist da diese Karte?! Visible Image Produkte und zusätzlich meine durchscheinenden Wassertropfen auf den Blättern und auf dem Hintergrund.
At Simon Says Stamp there is a challenge this week featuring Visible Image products. You don't have to use Visible Image products, because the theme is "Something clear", but how well does this card fit?! Visible Image products and translucent rain drops on the leaves and clear drops on the background.

Relaxing colouring

Sicherlich kann man einen Hintergrund als dezenten Hintergrund verwenden, oder ihn als den eigentlichen Hingucker für seine Karte verwenden. Diesen Hintergrund fand ich so verlockend, dass ich ihn unbedingt anmalen wollte. Puh, das war eine ganz schöne Arbeit, hihi. Aber es ist ja auch so herrlich entspannend. Und so habe ich dann den Text nicht zu dominant angebracht.
Surely you can use a background as a discreet background, or use it as the real eye-catcher for your card. I found this background so tempting that I wanted to colour it. Phew, that was quite a job, hihi. But it is also so wonderfully relaxing. And so I decided not to make the text too dominant.
The sentiment reads:"Let go where we would like to detain, move on, where we would like to stay - those are the most difficult tasks given to us".


Zunächst habe ich den Hintergrundstempel in einem hellen blau gestempelt und ihn dann mit Trias koloriert. Ich benutze ja sonst als Alkoholmarker in fast allen Fällen Copics, aber bei diesem Motiv habe ich mich für die Trias Letraset entschieden, da sie zusätzlich zu der feinen Spitze noch eine mega feine im oberen Teil einer Kappe haben. Sie haben also sogar drei Spitzen. Für die schmalen Bereiche der Wellenlinien brauchte ich etwas ganz Feines.
Den Text habe ich mit Versamark gestempelt und in weiß embosst. Die schwarzen Schatten habe ich mit Markern zugefügt, damit man den Text besser lesen kann. Die Ränder habe ich mit der Hand wellig ausgeschnitten und die Ecken mit einem Eckenrunder abgerundet.
First I stamped the background stamp in a light blue and then coloured it with Trias. I usually use Copics as alcohol markers in almost all cases, but for this motive I decided on the Trias Letraset, because they have a mega fine tip in addition to the fine tip in the upper part of a cap. So they even have three tips. For the narrow areas of the wavy lines I needed something really fine.
I stamped the text with Versamark and embossed it in white. I added the black shadows with markers to make the text easier to read. I cut out the wavy edges by hand and rounded the corners with a round corner.
