I like maritime carts very much and somehow I am already a little bit in love with this one. It really inspires dreams, or what do you think? Sure, I made it into a confirmation card (the sentiment reads:"congratulations to your confirmation"), but you can let your thoughts flow in any direction while looking at the sea.
First I stamped the wooden frame with a brown tone and then coloured it with copics. On the outside I cut it out, I left the inner part and painted my scene there also with copics. In addition to the copics I used a white sakura pen for the ocean. I stamped the boat in black, coloured it and also cut it out. I cut a slit into my sea, so that I could put the boat into the waves. The frame with the boat I glued with spacer pads to the base card on which I had stamped the congratulations before.

Make My Monday
Challenge #114 - Favourite Fairytale
An ocean and a simple boat reminds me so much of the lovely fairytale of the fisher and his wife. The story is about the fisher who is allowed to wish for things and his wife is always asking for more until in the end they end up with just having what they had before.
