Jaaa, es ist wieder Visible Wednesday (also der Mittwoch alle zwei Wochen, an dem ich Euch etwas mit den Stempeln von Visible Image zeige). Ich hatte endlich mal die Gelegenheit, etwas mit den neuen Weihnachtsstempeln zu kreieren. Das Weihnachtsset, welches ich benutzt habe heißt Christmas Chaos. Es ist so vielseitig, dass man vermutlich die Weihnachtspost von mehreren Jahren damit gestalten könnte! Ich habe mich heute dabei auf nur zwei der Stempel konzentriert: den einen Tannenbaum und den Weihnachtsgruß.
Yes, it's Visible Wednesday again (that Wednesday every other week when I show you something with the stamps of Visible Image). I finally had the opportunity to create something with the new Christmas stamps. The Christmas set I used is called Christmas Chaos. It's so versatile that you could probably use it to create the Christmas mail of several years! Today I concentrated on only two of the stamps: the one Christmas tree and the Christmas greeting.
Der Hintergrund ist beim Spielen mit Acrylfarben entstanden. Auf dem kleinen Bild könnt Ihr sehen, wie er zunächst ausgesehen hat (naja, oder kurz danach).
The
background was created when playing with acrylic paints. On the small
picture you can see what it looked like at first (or maybe second). Darauf habe ich den Tannenbaum dreimal mit Versamark gestempelt und mit einem sehr dicken goldenen Embossingpulver embosst. Es heißt flüssiges gold, da es einen ganz dicken Auftrag ergibt.
I stamped the fir tree three times with Versamark and embossed it with a very thick golden embossing powder. It is called liquid gold, because it gives a very thick application.
An den Rändern der Tannenbäume habe ich Stickles aufgetragen, so dass sie dort schön glitzern. Ich habe auch im Hintergrund mit hellgrüner Acrylfarbe die Sterne und den Schweif aus dem Set "Universal" gestempelt. Diese sollten im Hintergrund versteckt sein und ihn ein wenig interessanter machen. An den Rändern habe ich dunkelblaue und weiße Acrylfarbe mit einer alten Checkkarte aufgetragen. So entstand das mamorierte Muster. 
I
have applied stickles to the edges of the trees so that they glitter
nicely there. I also stamped the stars and the tail from the set
"Universal" in the background with light green acrylic paint. These
should be hidden in the background and make it a little more
interesting. 
Den Text habe ich ebenfalls mit Versamark gestempelt und in dunkelblau embosst. Die zwei Worte vom Text sind eigentlich untereinander angeordnet, ich wollte sie aber nebeneinander stempeln. Dafür klebe ich mir in der Regel einen Teil des Stempels mit Post-It Zetteln zu, wie ich es Euch unten im Bild zeige. Sowohl die Tannenbäume als auch den Text habe ich an den Rändern mit Polychromos und Copic Opaque betont. At the edges of the background I applied dark blue and white acrylic paint with an old check card. It resulted in the mamorized pattern. I also stamped the text with Versamark and embossed it in dark blue. The two words of the text are actually arranged underneath each other on the stamp, but I wanted to stamp them next to each other. Therefore I usually cover a part of the stamp with Post-It notes, as I show you in the picture below. Both the fir trees and the text I emphasized at the edges with Polychromos and Copic Opaque.
