Witziger Weise paßt meine Karte von heute wie die Faust auf´s Auge zu dem, wie ich mich fühle. Bislang war ich eigentlich echt entspannt und hatte Vieles schon erledigt und dachte, ich schaffe es mega entspannt durch die Vorweihnachtszeit. Aber seit gestern ist ein bisschen Stress angesagt. Auf einmal gab es so viel zu erledigen. Ich habe daher fleißig meine To-Do-Listen gefüllt, denn zumindest habe ich dann aus dem Kopf, WAS ich alles noch machen muss. Klar, erledigt ist es dann noch nicht, aber zumindest habe ich den Kopf dann für die Umsetzung frei. Unter anderem steht da auf meiner Liste, dass ich Euch diese Karte zeigen möchte. Das erledige ich jetzt mal direkt :) Der Spruch, den Ihr heute im Scrapbook Forever Stempel-Adventskalender findet, ist doch echt klasse, oder? Und der entspannte Elefant passte wieder einmal entzückend dazu.
Funny enough, my card from today fits so well to how I feel. So far I was really relaxed and had already done a lot and thought I would make my way super relaxed through the pre-Christmas period. But since yesterday some stress sneaked in. There were all of a sudden so many things to do! So I filled my to-do-lists diligently, because at least then I have out of my head WHAT I still have to do. Sure, it's not done yet, but at least I have my head free for the implementation. Among other things on my list for today I wanted to show you this card. So let me do that directly :) You can find the sentiment in the Scrapbook Forever stamp advent calendar today. It is really great, isn't it? It reads:"You do not always need to have a plan. Sometimes it is enough to breathe, to let go, to trust and to see what happens". And the relaxed elephant once again fitted so perfectly to it.
Falls Ihr meinen Blog regelmäßig lest, dann wißt Ihr, dass meine Karte von heute etwas aufwändiger in der Herstellung war. Das hatte ich gestern schonmal angekündigt. Im Hintergrund habe ich die kleinen Kringel mit Versamark gestempelt und in weiß embosst. Unten rechts ist ein Stück Aquarellpapier. Darauf habe ich zunächst die Blumen gestempelt und ebenfalls in weiß embosst. Dann habe ich es mit Aquarellfarben koloriert und wellig an den Rändern abgeschnitten. Den Elefanten habe ich mit Copics und Polychromos koloriert. In diesem speziellen Fall habe ich mit der No-Lines-Technik gearbeitet. Ich habe also eine sehr helle Farbe für den Stempelabdruck verwendet, so dass man die Linien hinterher nicht mehr sehen kann. Zum Schluß habe ich den Elefanten ausgeschnitten und auf die Kreise geklebt.
If you read my blog regularly, then you know that my card from today was a bit more elaborate in production. I had announced that yesterday already. In the background I stamped the little circles with Versamark and embossed them in white. On the bottom right is a piece of watercolour paper. On it I first stamped the flowers and embossed them in white. Then I coloured it with watercolours and cut it wavy at the edges. I coloured the elephant with Copics and Polychromos. In this special case I worked with the No-Lines technique. So I used a very light colour for the stamp so that you can't see the lines afterwards. Finally I cut out the elephant and glued it to the circles.

An den folgenden Challenges möchte ich mit meiner Karte teilnehmen.
I would like to participate into the following challenges with my card.
Im Hintergrund sehr Ihr ein Designpapier, das ich total schön finde und das so gut zu den Farben passte, mit denen ich den Kobold koloriert hatte. Dazu hatte ich ihn mit Ink on 3 gestempelt und mit Copics koloriert. Danach habe ich ihn mit einer Schere ausgeschnitten.
