Und da bin ich schon wieder mit einem weiteren Türchen des Stamp Corner Adventskalenders. Ist dieser Yeti nicht der Allersüßeste und so zum Knuddeln? So schade, dass es ihn nur auf dem Papier und unserer Fantasie gibt, oder?

And here I am again with another door of the Stamp Corner Advent calendar. Isn't this Yeti the cutest thing ever and so huggable? Such a pity that he only exists on paper and our imagination, right?

 

 

Vielleicht erinnert Ihr Euch, dass ich letztens mal einen Hintergrund für die Karte "Herzensmensch" mit Distress Oxide Sprays gestaltet hatte. Für meine Karte von  heute habe ich dann die Schablone genommen und sie auf einem weißen Karton quasi als Stempel benutzt. Der Abdruck ist so schön geworden und passte so gut zu meinem Motiv. Dem Yeti habe ich noch ein Herz in die Hand gerückt. Ich habe ihn mit Copics und Polychromos koloriert und weiße Akzente mit einem Sakurastift gezeichnet. Den Text habe ich in weiß embosst. Auf den Hintergrund meiner Karte habe ich weiße Herzen geklebt, die ich ausgestanzt habe und weiße Punkte zugefügt. 

Die Form ist halt mal anders als es sonst so ist und so kann man sich die Karte auch schön auf den Tisch stellen zum Beispiel.

Maybe you remember that I had designed a background for the card "Herzensmensch" with Distress Oxide Sprays the other day. For my card of today, I then took the stencil and used it on a white cardboard as a stamp. The print turned out so beautiful and fit so well with my motif. I also added a heart to the Yeti. I colored it with Copics and Polychromos and drew white accents with a Sakura pen. I embossed the text in white. On the background of my card I glued white hearts that I punched out and added white dots.
The shape is just different than it usually is and so you can put the card on a table for example. ... to lift you up when you look at it.
