Visible Wednesday - Transformation

Die Augen zur Vergangenheit zu schließen und den Geist etwas Neuem zuwenden. Es ist meist schwer, den richtigen Zeitpunkt dafür zu finden und oft ertappt man sich dabei, wieder zu viel über (negatives) Vergangenes nachzugrübeln. Aber nur so kann man wieder innere Ruhe finden und glücklich sein. 
To close your eyes to the past and turn your mind to something new. It is difficult to find the right time and often you find yourself thinking too much about the (negative) past. But this is the only way to find inner peace and to be happy again.

Mit meinem Bild von heute habe ich die Verwandlung oder Wandelbarkeit eingefangen. Wer sieht einen Schmetterling? Wer eine Eule und vielleicht seht Ihr ein Gesicht? Vielleicht ist es auch nicht ein Wesen, sondern gar zwei? Küssen sie sich und sehe ich Tränen? Ich kann die Sonne aufgehen sehen, Ihr auch? Aber auf jeden Fall sollten es fröhliche Farben sein, denn in neuen Schritten liegt oft so viel Tolles, das man erleben darf. 

With my picture of today I have captured the transformation or changeability. Who sees a butterfly? Who sees an owl and maybe you see a face? And perhaps it is not only one creature, but two? Do they kiss and do I see tears? I can see the sun rising, can you, too? But in any case I wanted it to be cheerful colours, because in new steps there is often so much great things to experience. 

Ich habe mit meiner runden Gelli Plate diesen Hintergrund gestaltet. Die Rauten in der Mitte sind mit Versamark gestempelt und embosst. Die Zeichen in grünlichblau sind ebenfalls gestempelt. 

With my round gelli plate I created this background. The diamonds are stamped with Versamark and embossed. The signs in greenish blue are also stamped.

Auf diesen Hintergund habe ich die Augen mit Ink on 3 gestempelt. Die Augäpfel habe ich mit Copic Opaque weiß gemalt und dann Farbe mit Acrylstiften und Lyra Kreiden aufgetragen. Einige Stellen habe ich mit schwarz nachgezeichnet. 

On this background I stamped the eyes with Ink on 3. I whitened the eyeballs with Copic Opaque and added colour to the eyes with acrylic pens and Lyra crayons. I retraced some of the black parts with Lumocolor pens.

Die Gelli Plate Abdrücke und die weißen Bereiche dazwischen habe ich dann mit Lyra Kreiden, Acrylstiften und Polychromos farbig bearbeitet. Der Text ist mit Distress Oxides gestempelt. Im Hintergrund habe ich weiße Linien mit einem Sakurastift gezogen.

I coloured the gelli plate prints and the white areas between them with Lyra crayons, acrylic pens and Polychromos pens. The text is stamped with Distress Oxides. I drew white lines in the background with a Sakura pen.
