Oh, was habe ich mich darauf gefreut, diese neuen Dinge von Visible Image in den Händen zu halten. Endlich hatte ich auch Zeit, mich ihnen zu widmen. Es gab einen neuen Release, unter anderem mit mega Muster-Stanzen und zum Beispiel diesem Stempelset "Molly Rules". Also ehrlich: Als ich noch etwas jünger war, hätte ich mega gerne solche Haarspangen mit Totenköpfen gehabt. 

Oh, what I was looking forward to getting my hands on these new things from Visible Image. Finally, I also had time to devote to them. There was a new release, among other things with mega cool pattern punches and for example this stamp set "Molly Rules". Honestly: When I was a bit younger, I would have loved to have such hair clips with skulls.

 

Molly habe ich mit Copics und Polychromos koloriert. Ausgeschnitten habe ich sie von Hand mit der Schere. Für den Hintergrund habe ich Brushos auf Glanzkarton gegeben und darauf liegt ein Teil des Stanzteils von einer der neuen Stanzen. Den Spruch habe ich mit Versamark gestempelt und in weiß embosst. Ich habe den Text dann mit Copics koloriert. 

 

I colored Molly with Copics and Polychromos. I fuzzy-cut her. For the background I put Brushos on glossy cardstock and on top of it is a part of the die cut from one of the new dies. I stamped the saying with Versamark and embossed it in white. I then colored the text with Copics. 

 

 

An den Rändern habe ich Löcher gestanzt und Band durchgefädelt, so dass es wie genäht ausschaut. Ebenso habe ich Bänder neben den Text geknotet. Die Sterne sind Stanzteile. 

On the edges I punched holes and threaded ribbon through so that it looks like sewn. Likewise, I knotted ribbons next to the text. The stars are die-cut parts.

Ich vermisse Dich! Jaaaa, so sehr wahr ist dieser Ausspruch in den letzten Jahren geworden. So traurig, dass wir so viele Menschen nicht sehen können. Um diesem Spruch noch mehr Ausdruck zu verleihen, habe ich meine Karte von heute im CAS Stil gehalten. 

I miss you! Yeeaaahhh, this saying has become so very true in recent years. So sad that we can't see  many beloved people. To add more expression to this saying (I miss you), I made my card from today in CAS style.

 

 

Meine Karte habe ich für die neue Challenge von Stamp Corner zum Thema "Neu" gemacht. Was ist neu an meiner Karte? Ich habe das neuste Stempelset, das neuste Stanzenset von Stamp Corner und auch die neuste Farbe Distress Oxides verwendet. 

Um den Hintergrund zu gestalten habe ich mit zwei Streifen Klebeband einen Streifen abgeklebt. Diesen habe ich dann mit zwei Farben Distress Oxides gewischt. Nach Entfernen der Klebestreifen habe ich Brusho-Kristalle auf die Karte gegeben und dann mit Wasser besprenkelt. Für das Textschild und auch für den Rand habe ich die tollen Wellenstanzen verwendet. 

I made my card for Stamp Corner's new challenge on the theme of "New". What's new about my card? I used the newest stamp set, the newest die set from Stamp Corner and also the newest color Distress Oxides.

To create the background I used two strips of tape to mask off a strip. I then wiped this with two colors of Distress Oxides. After removing the strips of tape, I added Brusho crystals to the card and then sprinkled it with water. For the text tag and also for the border I used the great wavy dies.

Zur Mitte des Monats erscheint nochmal ein neues Stempelset bei Stamp Corner mit zwei niedlichen Eulen. Ganz besonders toll finde ich, dass die Motive so schön groß sind. Die eine Eule ist in Partylaune, die andere traurig. Passend zu den Eulen sind noch einige Texte im Set enthalten. 

 

Towards the middle of the month a new stamp set comes to the store at Stamp Corner with two cute owls. I find it especially cool that the motifs are so nice and big. One owl is in a party mood, the other one sad. The owls come with matching texts included in the set. 

Einige kennen mich ja bereits etwas länger und wissen, dass ich im Frühjahr zu einem Stempeltreffen namens Medina fahre mit ein paar meiner Freundinnen. Leider kommen sie dieses Mal nicht mit. So ist diese traurige Eule ihnen gewidmet. Doch halt, eine hat überraschender Weise mal wieder zugesagt und es ist mir eine sooooo große Freude, dass Jessi dieses Jahr ausnahmsweise mal wieder dabei sein kann. Na, ich werde Euch berichten, wie es so was, wenn Ihr möchtet.

 

Some of you know me already a little longer and know that in the spring I go to a stamp meeting called Medina with a few of my girlfriends. Unfortunately, they do not come this time. So this sad owl is dedicated to them. But wait, one of them surprisingly said yes again and I am sooooo happy that Jessi can be there this year for once. Well, I will report to you how it was, if you like.
 

Die Eule habe ich mit Ink on 3 auf Kraftkarton gestempelt und mit Polychromos koloriert. Reflexe habe ich mit weißem Sakurastift gemalt. Anschließend habe ich die Eule von Hand mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. 

Der Hintergrund ist aus meiner Sammlung, ihn habe ich vor längerer Zeit schon mit einer Schablone gemacht. Ich wollte einen Hintergrund, der kaum auffällt und alle Aufmerksamkeit auf der Eule lässt. Irgendwie schaut er ja auch wie Regen aus oder Tränen. Auch das passte gut zum Motiv.

 

 

I stamped the owl with Ink on 3 on kraft cardstock and colored it with Polychromos. I have painted the reflections with white Sakura pen. Then I fussy-cut the owl.

The background is from my collection, I already made it with a stencil a long time ago. I wanted a background that is hardly noticeable and leaves all attention on the owl. It reminds me of rain or tears, which fits nicely to the owl.

Sind die beiden nicht süß? Sie sind aus einem der neuen Stempelsets aus dem Februar-Release von Stamp Corner. In dem Set sind noch weitere Motive, die ihr wohl hier in den kommenden Wochen sehen werden könnt. Es hat so Freude bereitet, die zwei zu kolorieren. 

Aren't these two cute? They are from one of the new stamp sets from the February release of Stamp Corner. There are more designs in the set that you will probably see here in the coming weeks. These two were such a joy to color. The text says: I am on my way! Whoosh mouse!
 

 

Mein Motiv habe ich mit Ink on 3 gestempelt und mit Copics sowie Polychromos koloriert. Den Text habe ich mit Distress Oxides gestempelt. Die Rahmen habe ich mit Rahmenstanzen ausgestanzt und zum Schluß einige farblich passende Nuvo Drops auf die Karte gegeben.

I stamped my image with Ink on 3 and colored it with Copics and Polychromos. The text I stamped with Distress Oxides. I die-cut the frames with dies and finally added some color matching Nuvo Drops to the card.
