Weihnachten hat nen langen Bart - oder: auch unter Wasser wird Weihnachten gefeiert!

Na, was soll ich sagen? Weihnachten hat doch wirklich einen langen Bart, oder? hihihi. Als wir kürzlich im Designteam unserer Fantasie freien Lauf gelassen haben, sagte eine meiner DT-Schwestern, dass sie dem Fisch eine Weihnachtsmütze verpassen würde. Ich habe mich dann aus dem Fenster gelehnt und gesagt, dass ihm ein Bart auch prima stehen würde. Na, und was man verspricht, das muss man dann ja auch halten, oder? Ich bin mir sicher, dass unter Wasser auch Weihnachten gefeiert wird.
Well, what should I say? Christmas has a long mustache! (Do you have this saying in your country at all? In Germany it means, that something has a long tradition and well, yes, it has a little bit of an old fashioned touch to it as well). hehehe. When we recently let our fantasy go wild in the design team, one of my DT sisters said she would give the fish a cap. And well, I then added that a mustache would also suit him well! And yes, I keep my promises. I am sure that there is also Christmas under water.

Ich habe also zunächst den tollen Fisch aus dem neuen Release (den großen) gestempelt und die Mütze und den Bart mit der Hand gezeichnet und ausgeschnitten. Koloriert habe ich alles mit Copics und Polychromos. Die Sterne und der Spruch sind aus dem Elchiset und ich habe sie in verschiedenen Farben gestempelt. Die grünen Punkte sind mit einem Poscamarker gemalt, die erhabenen Punkte unten sind Nuvo Drops. Für das Design der Karte habe ich lediglich am linken Rand die Ecken abgerundet. 

 
I first stamped the fish from the new release (the big one) and painted the hat and the mustache myself. I coloured everything with Copics and Polychromos. The stars and the sentiment are from the Elchi stamp set and I stamped them in various colours to the card base. I painted the green dots with Poscamarker and the blue dots on the bottom are Nuvo drops. To give the card a special design I only rounded the corners on the left side.
