Man könnte meinen, ich hätte den Hintergrund mit den Ranger Distress Oxides gemacht, aber weit gefehlt, die gab es zu der Zeit noch nicht. Dieses mal werden sie mit im Gepäck sein. Ihr könnt Euch also auf ein paar Karten und Beispiele freuen.
Den Hintergrund der Karte habe ich tatsächlich mit der guten alten Smooching Technik gestaltet. Darauf habe ich mit einer Schablone Strukturpaste aufgetragen, die Eyelets angebracht, ein wenig goldene Farbe aufgespritzt und das "Happy"-Stanzelement angebracht.
Noch ein Kommentar zu Smooching: Witziger Weise bedeutet to smooch ja knutschen. Ich habe den Begriff fälschlicher Weise am Anfang benutzt (und es so beibehalten), obwohl die Technik wohl Smooshing heißt, also "matschen". Aber das mit dem Knutschen passt, finde ich, sogar besser, denn man knutscht das Papier ja mit der Folie und die Farbe bleibt dann haften (wie mit nem Lippensitft).

I designed the background of the card with the good old smooching technique. The vines leaves are made with structure paste using a mask. I added eyelets and the die cut element "Happy" to the card and sprinkeled it a bit with gold paint.
A word on the side to the smooching technique: I used this term smooching instead of the correct one Smooshing by mistake in the beginning, but kept it this way, since I think it fits so well. Isn´t it that one kisses the paper with the foil and the ink stays as with a lipstick?
