Goldener Herbst mit silbernem Blatt

Ich wollte mal eine etwas edel anmutende Karte machen. Da kam mir das Silberblatt ganz recht und der Sketch von Sunday Stamps passte auch super. Durch die Less is More Challenge werde ich auch immer angehalten aus weniger mehr zu machen und so ist diese Karte entstanden.

I wanted to make a card that looks a bit precious and this silver leaf seemed to be a perfect start. The sketch from Sunday Stamps matched well with my thoughts and the Less is More challenge reminded me of not overloading my card, but to still make a big impression.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich eine strukturierte Kartenbasis genommen und mir eine Schablone gemacht um den unteren rechten Teil der Karte mit einem weißen Stempelpad leicht anzufärben. Darauf habe ich die Blätter gestempelt und mit einem Kreidemarker akzentuiert, die Außenline und Punkte zugefügt. Da -wie wir ja alle wissen- der Stempelabdruck mit einem weißen Stempelpad nicht ganz so kräftig wird, habe ich den Schriftzug mit einem Signo white Marker nachgezogen.

I used a structured card basis and made a mask to apply white dye from a stamp pad to the lower part of the card. I stamped the leaves on it and accentuated them with a chalk marker, made the outline and added the dots with it. We all know, that white dyes do not give a very opaque impression, so I used my Signo marker to go over the stamped text again.
