Im Juni wird es herrliche neue Sets bei Stamp Corner geben. Einmal zum Start des Monats und dann noch zum Geburstag von Stamp Corner am 10.06.. In June there will be wonderful new sets at Satmp Corner. Once for the start of the month and then still for the birthday of Stamp Corner on June 10. One of the sets includes these lucky bugs and other stunningly cute good luck charms. Erst einmal habe ich die Briefmarken ausgestanzt. Man erhält bei der Stanze das Mittelteil und den Rahmen einzeln. Eigentlich ganz praktisch, aber wenn man sie dann wieder zusammen setzen will, dann muss man eetwas zurecht schneiden, dass dahinter passt und beides zusammen hält. Das war in meinem Falle notwendig, da ich ja meine Briefmarken mit Abstandspads befestigen wollte und nicht direkt auf den Hintergrund kleben wollte. Im Mittelteil der Briefmarken habe ich die Marienkäfer mit Ink on 3 gestempelt, mit Copics koloriert und Akzente mit einem Sakurastift gesetzt.

 

First of all, I die-cut the stamps. You get the middle part and the frame separately. Actually quite practical, but if you want to put them together again, then you have to cut something that fits behind it and holds both together. This was necessary in my case, because I wanted to attach my stamps with spacer pads and not glue them directly to the background. In the middle parts I stamped the ladybugs with Ink on 3, colored them with Copics and set accents with a Sakura pen.
 

Der Text ist ebenfalls mit Ink on 3 gestempelt. Im Hintergrund habe ich ein Designpapier aus den Sets von Stamp Corner verwendet. Das ist beidseitig bedruckt. Dieses hier in rot/weiß auf einer Seite, auf der anderen in grau/weiß. 

The text is also stamped with Ink on 3. In the background I used a design paper from the sets of Stamp Corner. They are printed on both sides. This one is red / white on one side, on the other side is gray / white.

Uh, oh, ah, habt Ihr schon den neuen Release von Visible Image gesehen? Er ist mega! Drei riesige Motivstempelsets in DIN A5 (die natürlich auch Texte enthalten) und sechs Familiendefinitionen (Mutter, Vater, Sohn, Tochter, Bruder, Schwester). Allesamt eröffnen soooo viele Möglichkeiten. Es gibt mal wieder so viel zu entdecken. Und so ist mir zum Beispiel der Fadenstempel ins Auge gesprungen, den ich hier in zweierlei Form verwendet habe. Einmal weiß embosst und koloriert hinter der Libelle und dann nochmals als Hintergrund, um das Muster wieder zu finden und dem Auge zu schmeicheln in einem hellen Blauton gestempelt. 

Uh, oh, ah, have you seen the new release of Visible Image yet? It is mega! Three huge motif stamp sets in DIN A5 (which of course also contain texts) and six family definitions (mother, father, son, daughter, brother, sister). All of them open up soooo many possibilities. There is once again so much to discover. And so, for example, the thread stamp caught my eye, which I used here in two ways. Once white embossed and colored behind the dragonfly and then stamped again as a background to find the pattern again and please the eye in a light blue tone.

 

 

Für meinen Hintergrund wollte ich auf der linken Seite eine Sichel nachbilden. Dafür habe ich mir aus Klebeetiketten eineabgerundete Kante gestanz und das dann über mein Aquarellpapier geklebt. Die Etiketten kleben so gut, dass die Wasserfarbe nicht darunter läuft, sind aber super toll wieder abzuziehen. Im Bild ist das Etikett noch nicht aufgeklebt, sondern nur über das Papier gelegt.

 

For my background, I wanted to recreate a crescent on the left side. For this I die-cuted a rounded edge from adhesive labels and then glued that over my watercolor paper. The labels stick so well that the watercolor does not run under it, but are super easy to peel off again. The label is not yet glued to the paper on the picture, but just layered over it.

 

 

Über diese Kante habe ich das Fadenmuster mehrfach mit Versamark gestempelt und mit weißem Embossingpulver embosst. Kürzlich hatten wir die Frage, wer ein tolles feines weißes Embossingpulver kennt. Von meinem war ich immer total begeistert, das gibt es aber nicht mehr zu kaufen. Daher habe ich jetzt das super feine von WOW! probiert. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Die einzelnen Felder habe ich dann mit Aquarellfarben koloriert und nach dem Trocknen das Klebeetikett abgezogen. 

 

Over this edge I stamped the thread design several times with Versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder. Recently we had the question who knows a great fine white embossing powder. I was always totally thrilled with mine, but it is no longer available for purchase. Therefore, I have now tried the super fine of WOW! I am very pleased with the result. The individual fields I have then colored with watercolors and after drying I peeled the adhesive label off.

 

Die Libelle habe ich ebenfalls mit Versamark gestempelt und dann in einem Platinton embosst. Anschließend habe ich auch sie mit Aquarellfarben koloriert und von Hand ausgeschnitten.

 

The dragonfly I also stamped with Versamark and embossed it in a platinum tone. Then I also colored it with watercolors and fussy-cut it

Schau mir in die Augen, Kleines! So könnte es auch zu dieser Karte heißen, oder? Ist er nicht furchtbar niedlich? Das Nilpferd entstammt auch dem Set "Echt jetzt?" von Stamp Corner. Uuuuuuund heute startet auch wieder eine neue Challenge für Euch auf dem Stamp Corner Challenge Blog. Welches Thema könnte es denn haben, wenn diese Karte hier dazu passt?

Look into my eyes, baby! That's what would also fit to this card, right? Isn't the hippo awfully cute? It is also from the "Echt jetzt?" set from Stamp Corner. Aaaaaand today also starts another new challenge for you on the Stamp Corner Challenge Blog. What theme could it have, if this card fits to it?

 

Für den Hintergrund meiner Karte habe ich mit zwei Farben Distress Oxides Spray mit einer Schablone gesprüht. Um einen passenden, etwas weniger unruhigen Hintergrund für den Kreis zu erhalten, habe ich noch einmal mit dem coral-Farbton ein Papier eingefärbt. 

Das süße Nilpferd habe ich mit espresso truffle von Memento gestempelt - ihr kennt es mittlerweile, damit der Rand nicht zu krass hart erscheint. Das Motiv habe ich mit Polychromos koloriert, auch das passte mit den zarteren Farben gut dazu, fand ich. 

For the background of my card I sprayed with two colors Distress Oxides Spray with a stencil. To get a matching, slightly less distressed background for the circle, I once again inked a paper with the coral shade.
I stamped the cute hippo with espresso truffle from Memento - you know it by now, so the edges don't appear too starkly hard. I colored the motif with Polychromos, which also fit well with the softer colors, I thought.

Happy Birthday, liebe Annett mit GroWidesign! Heute ist Dein 5. Geburtstag und ich möchte Dir ganz herzlich dazu mit dem von Dir designeten Faultier gratulieren, welches es ab heute auch bei Stamp Corner als Stempelset gibt, juchu! Ich bin sowas von schockverliebt in den Süßen! Das hast Du mal wieder großartig gezaubert. Wobei Fauli hier ja wohl tatsächlich zaubern kann. Jedenfalls hat er mich verzaubert, hihihi.

Happy Birthday, dear Annett with GroWidesign! Today is your 5th birthday and I want to congratulate you very much with the sloth designed by you, which is also available from today on at Stamp Corner as a stamp set, yay! I am so in love with this sweetie! You have once again have done magic. Whereas this cutie can actually really do magic here, it seems. Anyway, he has enchanted me, hihihi.

 

Den Hintergrund für meine Karte habe ich mit einer Schablone gemacht. Dazu habe ich von innen nach außen einen Farbverlauft von tieforange nach gelb mit Schwämmen gewischt. Die Sterne habe ich noch ein wenig mit Polychromos betont. Außerdem habe ich noch Glitzersteine aufgeklebt, damit es auch wirklich glitzert auf der Karte vom Zauberstab-Wusch. Die Ränder des Hintergrunds habe ich mit einem Tool aufgeraut und noch mit Stempelkissen eingefärbt.

Fauli, den Süßen habe ich mit Memento gestempelt und mit Copics und Polychromos koloriert. Danach habe ich ihn von Hand ausgeschnitten und mit Abstandspads auf den Hintergrund geklebt. 
 

 

The background for my card I made with a stencil. To do this, I wiped from the inside to the outside a color gradient from deep orange to yellow with sponges. I have emphasized the stars a little with Polychromos. In addition, I glued gems to the background, so that it really glitters on the card from the magic wand whoosh. I roughened the edges of the background with a tool and colored them with stamp pads.

Lazy, the cute one I stamped with Memento and colored it with Copics and Polychromos. Then I cut him out by hand and glued him to the background with spacer pads.

Ihr wisst ja, dass ich gerne Charaktere koloriere. Diese Katze hat mich ja direkt begeistert. Und heute habe ich daher gleich zwei Lieblingsstempel miteinander kombiniert: Das Shirt und die Katze. ... und jaaaa! mit knalligen Farben, genau so, wie ich es mag: bunt und schrill.

You know that I like to color characters. This cat has inspired me directly. And today I have therefore combined two favorite stamps: The shirt and the cat. ... and yes! with bright colors, just the way I like it: colorful, flashy and bizarre.

 

Zunächst habe ich mein Shirt mit einem hellen Lilaton von Distress Oxides auf schwarzen Karton gestempelt. Ich habe es von Hand ausgeschnitten und mit Polychromos koloriert (das könnt Ihr in den späteren Bildern erkennen).

 

First, I stamped my shirt with a light shade of purple from Distress Oxides on black cardstock. I fuzzy-cut it and colored it with Polychromos (you can see it in the later pictures).

 

 

Den Katzenkopf habe ich mit Ink on 3 gestempelt und mit Copics sowie Polychromos koloriert. Nach dem Ausschneiden habe ich noch die Ränder ein wenig schwarz gemacht, damit das weiße Papier nicht durchschien.

 

I stamped the cat head with Ink on 3 and colored it with Copics and Polychromos. After fuzzy-cutting, I painted the edges black, where the white paper did shone through.

 

 

Mein Hintergrund ist dieses Mal ein Tag und keine Karte. Die Farben sind Acrylfarben, die ich mit einem Pinsel aufgetragen habe. Nach dem Trocknen habe ich noch die schwarzen Ränder zugefügt.  Den Text, der auch aus dem Stempelset "The Cheshire Cat" stammt, habe ich mit einem Versafine-Stempelkissen gestempelt. 

My background this time is a tag and not a card. The colors are acrylic paints that I applied with a brush. After drying, I drew the black borders. 

The text, which is also included in the stamp set "The Ceshire Cat", I stamped with a Versafine stamp pad.

 

Die Augen der Katze habe ich mehrfach mit Ink on 3 gestempelt, mit Copics und Polychormos koloriert, ausgeschnitten und mit 1 mm Abstandspads auf dem Hintergrund angebracht. Ebenso die Zähne oben rechts. Diie weißen Kratzer sind mit einem Sakurastift gemalt. 

I stamped the cat's eyes several times with Ink on 3, colored them with Copics and Polychormos, fuzzy-cut them and attached them to the background with 1 mm spacer pads. Likewise the teeth on the top right. The white scratches are painted with a Sakura pen.

 

 

In dem Loch des Tags habe ich einen schwarzen Ring aus Pappe aufgeklebt und dann verschiedene Bänder durchgezogen. Den ausgeschnittenen Text habe ich dann quer auf dem Tag angebracht.

 

I glued a black ring of cardstock onto the hole of the tag and then pulled through various ribbons. I then attached the cut-off text vertical to the tag.

I really really love to add ribbon like fringes. That adds such a nice uncontrollable touch like hair that is all over the place. And with this project it just fits so nicely, I think. 

 

New Baby - Gastdesign bei Stempelgarten

Hurra, ich hatte letztens bei der Stempelgarten-Challenge gewonnen und wurde daher eingeladen, bei der Mai-Challenge einen Gast-Design-Beitrag zu machen. Das mache ich doch gern! Das Thema der neuen Challenge, die heute startet lautet Baby.

Horay! I had won lately in the Stempelgarten challenge and was invited to be guest designer in the May challenge. Of course I accepted! The theme of the challenge, which starts today is baby. This sentiment on the card says: Congratulations to your cute baby.

 

Irgendwie finde ich, dass die House Mouse Stempel so toll dafür geeignet sind, selbst wenn sie kein Baby im eigentlichen Sinne enthalten. Und warum soll denn immer der Storch die Babies bringen? Hier kommt es mit einem Schmetterling, so zart ist es! 

 

Den Stempel habe ich in einem meiner Lieblingsfarbtöne espresso truffle von Memento gestempelt, so dass der Kontrast nicht zu hart ist. Koloriert habe ich das Motiv mit Copics und Polychromos. Im Hintergrund habe ich ein passendes Designpapier verwendet.

 

Somehow I think that the House Mouse stamps are so well suited for this purpose even if they do not show a baby in the real sense. And why should the storch always deliver the babies? Here it comes with a butterfly, that's how delicate it is! 

 

I stamped the mouse stamp with one of my favourite colours espresso truffle from Memento, so that the contrast is not too hard. I coloured the motif with Copics and Polychromos. In the background I used a matching design paper.  
 

Vielleicht habt Ihr ja auch Lust, eine Karte zum Thema zu gestalten. Es gibt auch wieder etwas zu gewinnen.
