Moin, Ihr Landratten! Die Kuh hat es im Lockdown nicht mehr ausgehalten und hat Reisaus genommen. Am Meer angekommen ist sie gleich ins Wasser gehüpft nachdem sie sich ihrer Kleidung entledigt hatte. Jetzt posiert sie noch glücklich vor der Kamera und schicht Euch allen Karten mit ihren Fotos. Geht es Euch auch so?

Hello, landlubbers! The cow has no longer endured it in the lockdown and has taken a trip to the ocean. Arrived at the sea she jumped right into the water after she got rid of her clothes. Now she poses happily in front of the camera and sends you all cards with her photos. Do you feel the same way? The sentiment says: "The sea makes you happy"

 

Im Mai wird es ein großes Release bei Stamp Corner geben und neben allerlei tollen Stempelsets wird auch ein neues Designpapier-Set dabei sein und einige neue Stencils. Von dem Designpapier habe ich auch einen Streifen hier auf meiner Karte durchblitzen lassen, hihi. Einen der neuen Stencils zum Thema Meer habe ich für meinen Hintergrund verwendet. Auf dem Stencil gibt es so einige Motive zum Thema Meer zu entdecken. Ich habe den Anker mit Distress Oxides durch die Schablone getupft. 

Meine Kuh habe ich mit Ink on 3 gestempelt und mit Polychromos koloriert. Sie entstammt dem brereits erhältlichen Kuh-Set. 

Die Blasen und den Spruch habe ich aus dem älteren Set Auszeit genommen. 

In May there will be a big release at Stamp Corner and in addition to all sorts of great stamp sets there will also be a new design paper set and some new stencils. From the design paper I have hidden a strip here on my card, hihi. It sneaks from underneath the cow. I used one of the new stencils for my background. The stencil contains a collection of sea motifs. I dabbed the anchor through the stencil with Distress Oxides.
I stamped my cow with Ink on 3 and colored it with Polychromos. It is from the cow set that is already available.
The bubbles and the saying I have taken from the older set "Auszeit".

Ich hatte die Vorstellung von einer pastelligen Karte mit einer Mauer und einem leichten Gefühl. Die Mauer ist aus kleinen Stücken zusammen gesetzt. In der Mitte habe ich einen Durchbruch gelassen.

 

I had the idea of a pastel card with a wall and a light feel. The wall is made up of small pieces. In the middle I have left a breakthrough. 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich mit drei Farben Distress Oxides einen Hintergrund gewischt. Auf diesen habe ich mit den gleichen Farben verschiedene Muster gestempelt und auf den weißen Streifen unten den Spruch gestempelt. Ich habe dafür einen Grauton gewählt, damit die Leichtigkeit bewahrt bleibt. Auch den Papierflieger habe ich in diesem Ton gestempelt und mit Polychromos koloriert.

 

For the background I wiped a background with three colors Distress Oxides. On this I stamped different patterns with the same colors and stamped the saying on the white stripe at the bottom. I chose a shade of gray for this to keep the lightness. I have also stamped the paper plane in this tone and colored it with Polychromos pens.

 

 

Mit Wasser habe ich helle Punkte auf dem Hintergrund erzeugt und zusätzlich noch mit einem Posca-Pinselstift weiße Spritzer zugefügt. Die Texte sollten gut zu lesen sein, aber nicht zu dominant. Daher habe ich sie in weiß embosst. 

An den Rändern habe ich noch ein wenig in einem Grauton gedoodelt. Einige der kleinen Kreise habe ich zunächst mit weiß und dann in gelb und orange betont.

I used water to create bright dots on the background and also added white splashes with a Posca brush pen. The texts should be easy to read, but not too dominant. Therefore I embossed them in white.
At the edges I added a little bit of doodling in a gray tone. Some of the small circles I have first emphasized with white and then in yellow and orange.

Heute startet für Euch auf dem Stamp Corner Blog eine neue Challenge. Das Thema lautet Koloration. Und Ihr habt vielleicht auch meinen letzten Beitrag gelesen. Dort hatte ich bereits erwähnt, dass ja auch eine neue Kolorations-Challenge von Kathy Rac gestartet ist. Für meine Karte von heute habe ich daher gaaaanz viel koloriert. Nicht nur das Hauptmotiv ist mit Polychromos koloriert, sondern auch die Helme im Hintergrund. 

 

Today starts a new challenge for you on the Stamp Corner blog. The theme is coloring. And you may have read my last post. There I had already mentioned that also a new coloring challenge of Kathy Rac has started. For my card of today, I have therefore colored a lot! Not only the main motif is colored with polychromos, but also the helmets in the background of my card. The text reads:"You are my hero".

 

Wenn ich mit Polychromos auf Kraftkarton koloriere, trage ich erst einmal weiß auf die hellen Stellen auf. Danach starte ich mit meinem dunkelsten Farbton einer Farbe und gehe langsam zu den helleren Tönen über. Immer wieder verblende ich dabei die dunkleren Partien mit den helleren und streiche auch entweder mit weiß oder elfenbein intensiv drüber. Das Wichtigste beim Kolorieren mit Polychromos ist eigentlich, dass Ihr nicht zu stark aufdrückt, sondern immer wieder ein wenig Farbe auftragt. Ja, das dauert sehr lange, ist aber auch herrlich entspannend. Eckbereiche werden dann zusätzlich zum dunklen Farbton noch  mit dunkelbraun verblendet.

 

When I color with Polychromos on kraft cardstock, I first apply white to the lighter areas. Then I start with my darkest shade of a color and slowly move on to the lighter tones. I always blend the darker areas with the lighter ones and also paint over them intensively with either white or ivory. The most important thing when coloring with Polychromos is actually that you don't press on too hard, but keep applying a little bit of color step by step. Yes, this takes a long time, but it is also wonderfully relaxing. Corner areas are then blended with dark brown in addition to the dark color tone.

 

Bei dieser Karte habe ich ja sowohl auf Kraftkarton als auch auf weißem Karton koloriert. Daher habe ich beim Hauptmotiv auch mit gelblichen Tönen zusätzlich gearbeitet, damit es nicht zu blass aussah. 

 

With this card I have colored both on kraft cardboard and on white cardboard. Therefore, I have added yellowish tones to the main motif also, so that it did not look too pale.

 

 

Meinen kleinen Wikinger habe ich quasi wie einen Wimpel aussehen lassen. Dafür habe ich das band an einem Brad befestigt.

 

I made my little Viking look like a pennant, so to speak. For this I have attached the ribbon to a brad.

Aaaach, habt Ihr es gesehen? Es gibt eine neue Coloring-Challenge von Kathy Rac! Und sie kommt mir tatsächlich wie gerufen. Ich war so ausgelaugt und habe es so genossen, mal wieder Zeit zum Kolorieren zu finden. Ich habe gleich eine ganze Menge Katzen gestempelt, ich finde sie auch einfach zu süß! Und dann habe ich natürlich noch obendrein gaaanz tief in die bunte Farbkiste gegriffen. 

Ohhhhh, have you seen it? There is a new coloring challenge from Kathy Rac! And it actually comes at the right time for me. I've been so drained and have so enjoyed finding time to color again. I stamped a whole bunch of cats right away, I think they are just too cute too! And then, to make it real fun for me, I have deeply reached into the really colorful corner of the color box.

 

Ihr kennt mich ja, ich maskiere selten, sondern liebe es, meine Motive auszuschneiden und dann mit Abstandspads aufzukleben. Dieses Mal war es aber anders. Es hat mich gereizt, diese Katzenschar mit der Maskiertechnik zu machen. 

Ich habe mir also drei Katzenmasken hergestellt, indem ich die Katze auf nich-permanente Etiketten gestempelt und ausgeschnitten habe. Prima ist, dass die Katze eine leicht zu schneidende Kontur besitzt. Die überstehenden Haare können für diese Technik auch einfach abgeschnitten werden. 

 

You know me, I rarely use the masking technique, but love to fuzzy-cut my motifs and then glue them on with spacer pads. This time, however, it was different. I was tempted to make this group of cats using the masking technique.
So I first created three cat masks by stamping the cat onto non-permanent labels and cutting them out. What's great is that the cat has an easy-to-cut outline. The hair that sticks out can also be easily cut off for this technique.
 

 

Die Katze, die hinterher vorne erscheinen soll wird als erstes gestempelt und nach dem Trocknen dann mit einer Maske abgedeckt. Dann werden die Katzen gestempelt, die weiter hinten erscheinen sollen. Zum Schluss nimmt man dann die Masken wieder ab. 

 

Ich habe meine Katzen und den Hintergrund mit Copics und Polychromos koloriert. Damit die Katzen sich noch ein wenig vom Hintergrund abheben, habe ich einen Schatten um sie herum gemalt. 

Akzente habe ich mit einem weißen Sakurastift gemalt. 

 

The cat that is to appear in the front in the final card is stamped first and then covered with a mask after drying. Then those cats are being stamped next, which should appear further back. Finally you take the masks off again.
 
I colored my cats and the background with Copics and Polychromos. To make the cats stand out a bit more from the background, I painted a shadow around them.
I set accents with a white Sakura pen.

Ach, ich sage Euch, es ist sooooo sooooo schade, dass diese gestempelten Shirts nicht reale Shirts sind. Andererseits: Mein Kleiderschrank würde aus allen Nähten platzen.

Oh, I tell you, it is sooooo sooooo sad that these stamped shirts are not real shirts. On the other hand: My closet would burst at the seams.

 

 

Als ich diese Karte gemacht habe, hatte ich so mega viel Spaß. Es ist so witzig, T-Shirts mit diesem Set zu kreieren! Ich konnte tatsächlich gar nicht mehr aufhören. Ich hoffe, Ihr könnt das in meiner Collage ein bisschen sehen. Den "Stoff" für das Shirt habe ich mit der Rasierschaum-Technik und der "Ripped Fishnet"-Schablone von Visible Image gemacht. Ich fand, dass es so mega ein bisschen wie Schlangenleder aussah, dass ich es in Kombination mit den Lippen perfekt fand. Auf diesen Hintergrund habe ich das Shirt gestempelt und ausgeschnitten. 

 

When I made this card, I had so much fun. It's so cool to create t-shirts with this set! I actually couldn't stop at all. I hope you can see that a little bit in my collage. I made the "fabric" for the shirt using the shaving cream technique and the "Ripped Fishnet" stencil from Visible Image. I thought it looked so mega - a bit like snakeskin. That was perfect in combination with the lips. I stamped the shirt onto this background and fussy-cut it 

 

Die Lippen habe ich in einem Rotton gestempelt und mit Polychromos koloriert. Danach habe ich sie ebenfalls ausgeschnitten und auf das Shirt geklebt. So musste ich nicht nicht mit Maskiertechnik arbeiten und die Lippen stechen mehr raus. So richtig lecker! Für den Hintergrund meiner Karte habe ich ein Designpapier mit einem ganz leicht angedeuteten Muster genommen und darauf den Spruch viele Male gestempelt. Dazu habe ich einen Grauton verwendet, so dass es nicht zu markant war. Nachdem dies getrocknet war, habe ich die Punkte aus dem Set "Grunge Tones" mit Versamark gestempelt und in einem burgunderrot-Ton embosst.   

 

I stamped the lips in a shade of red and colored them with polychromos. Then I also fussy-cut them and glued them on the shirt. That way I didn't have to use masking techniques and the lips stand out more. So really yummy! For the background of my card, I took a design paper with a very lightly hinted pattern and stamped the saying many times on it. I used a greyish tone for it so that it would not be too bold. After this was dry, I stamped the dots from the set "Grunge Tones" with Versamark and embossed them in a burgundy tone.
 

 

 

Ich hatte noch ein bisschen was von dem "Shirtstoff" übrig. Daraus habe ich Fähnchen geschnitten und sie an die Karte getackert. 

 

I still had a bit of the "shirt fabric" left. From it I cut banners and stapled them to the card.

Ich wünsche Euch frohe Ostern, Ihr Lieben!

Vielleicht hat die ein oder andere oder der ein oder andere von Euch ja Zeit, um über Ostern mal ein bisschen zu entspannen und sich Wellness zu gönnen. Diese Kuh hier scheint den kleinen Luxus für sich sehr zu genießen. Sie entstammt dem neuen Kuhset, welches es seit diesem Monat bei StampCorner gibt.

Maybe one or the other of you has time to relax a bit over Easter and treat yourself to wellness. This cow here seems to enjoy this little luxury very much. She comes with the new cow set, which is available since this month at StampCorner.

 

 

Die Kuh und die Schrift habe ich mit Ink on 3 auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und mit Aquarellfarbe koloriert. Das pinke Papier mit den Streifen ist ein Stück Designpapier. Darauf habe ich Nuvo Drops gegeben in grün und weiß. Die Nähte an den Rändern der Karte sind gemalt, auf den kolorierten Stücken habe ich sie mit einer Stanze gemacht.

 

I stamped the cow and the lettering with Ink on 3 on watercolor paper and colored it with watercolor paint. The pink paper with the stripes is a piece of design paper. On it I gave Nuvo Drops in green and white. The stitches on the edges of the card are drawn, on the colored pieces I made them with a die.
