Reminder for Time Out Challenge

Erinnert Ihr Euch?
Do you remember? I am guest designer at the Challenge #40 of Time Out and they use to have a reminder post for their challenges. And of course I made another inspiration card for you. This time I took over the soft colours.

The task for you is that you are supposed to CASE the card from Tracey, which you can see in the photo below. Give it your own twist with a different colour or a different image or something else.
This is the card from Tracey to be CASEd

Challenge #40 - CASE Tracey (In my creative opinion blog)

As you can see, I was inspired by the style of a (mainly) one layer card, by the fine colours and the elements, which are embossed on vellum.

I used the "stamping with masks" technique for my card, which is being described in the current challenge of the Kartenkunst blog. You can find the link in the challenge list at the bottom of this post. The technique is a resist option, in which you apply VersaMark over a mask. You then emboss with white or colourless embossing powder. When you add colour in the last step, which is not taken up by the powder, then those parts stay blank.
In my case I started with an oval mask, which I made from trash paper and put it over my card basis. For the division into sky and water I just used a normal piece of paper. The birds are embossed on vellum and I applied some chalk marker on the back of them.
The sentiment says "Turn your face towards the sun so the shadows fall behind you".
