Your very own Embellishment

All of us use embellishments here and there to pep up our cards. Today I wanted to make the embellishment myself and not use a pre-made one.

The flowers are cut from vellum. The die usually gives one flower made of three parts, but I used them separately. I coloured them on the rougher side with Copics. The vellum did not soak up the alkohol marker immediately so I achieved some fun effects, which I hope you can see on the photos zoom. I used half pearls to decorate the flowers and added some very very fine iridescent string, which I layered over the bouquet. I chose this to underline the tenderness of the flowers and to give the bouquet the final touch.
